We are one big family, deeply rooted in love, inclusion, and a strong sense of community. Primarily staffed by over 60 dedicated volunteers, ages ranging from 18 to 85+, we believe there’s a place for everyone here to feel involved, find belonging, and thrive.

Our Ethos
We offer free Empowerment Courses and Group Activities open to all, available on-site, online, and throughout the town. These programs equip and empower individuals to build new skills.

Our Mission and Community Partnerships
Dacorum FoodBank
In collaboration with The Trussell Trust and Dacorum FoodBank, we serve as a distribution point for emergency food supplies. If you hold an e-voucher, you can collect your food parcel at Liberty Tea Rooms, Tuesday to Saturday, 10 am to 2 pm. Please note that specialised food parcels—such as those for vegan, vegetarian, or halal diets, or those without cooking facilities—are not available at this location.
Churches Together in Hemel Hempstead
We are proud participants in the ‘Churches Together’ initiative in Hemel Hempstead, valuing the power of partnership in fostering community well-being. Our charity is deeply enriched by the commitment of volunteers from over 20 churches across Hemel Hempstead and Dacorum. Together, we support our mission, empowering our services and working toward a shared vision of a flourishing community.
